Quality & sourcing

Are your products FSSAI certified?

Yes. Everything we sell is FSSAI-certified (Licence No. 11426999000045), so it meets India's food-safety and purity standards.

Where do you source from?

We buy direct from farmers — spices from the Western Ghats and North-East India, essential oils from trusted distillers, and coffee from single estates in Coorg. Buying at origin is how we can name the grade rather than just the product.

What does the TGSEB pepper grade mean?

TGSEB stands for Tellicherry Garbled Special Extra Bold — the top export grade of Indian black pepper. Only the largest berries, 4.75 mm and above, qualify, and bigger berries carry more aromatic oil and flavour.

What's the difference between 'Bold' and 'Extra Bold'?

It's a size class. Extra Bold berries measure 4.75 mm or larger and hold more essential oil, giving a deeper, more robust flavour than standard grades.

Are there any additives or preservatives?

No. Our spices and oils are 100% pure — no fillers, artificial colours or preservatives. Ground spices are ground to order and sealed fresh.

Essential oils

Are your essential oils 100% pure?

Yes. Every oil is pure and undiluted — steam-distilled or cold-pressed, never cut with carrier oil or synthetics. Each label carries the botanical name, plant part and extraction method.

Can I apply essential oils directly to my skin?

Not neat. Dilute in a carrier oil (coconut, jojoba, sweet almond) at about 1–2%, and patch-test on your inner forearm first. They're for aromatherapy and external use — not for swallowing. If you're pregnant or have a medical condition, check with a professional.

What sizes do the oils come in?

15 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml, in amber glass with a euro dropper to protect the oil from light and air.

Coffee

Is your coffee single-origin?

Yes — 100% single-origin Coorg coffee, offered as pure Arabica, pure Robusta, or freshly ground, with no blends or chicory.

How should I grind it?

Coarse for a French press, medium for pour-over and drip, and fine for a South Indian filter or moka pot. Grind just before brewing for the best cup.

Storage & use

How should I store whole spices?

In airtight glass containers in a cool, dark, dry place — away from the stove and direct sunlight. That preserves the natural oils that carry aroma and flavour.

Why choose whole spices over ground powders?

Whole spices keep their aroma far longer, because the oils stay locked inside until you grind. Grinding fresh, just before use, gives the biggest lift in flavour.
